====== Parabolics ======

This is one of the things so many Series owners do and it makes a BIG difference to the ride. There's claims it makes it //as good as a coil sprung Defender//, I'm not 100% sure that's true, especially if you use cheap shocks, but it's certainly a massive improvement.

At the time of fitting (2003-ish!) TI Console were the dog's danglies, and ProComp ES9000 gas shocks were a great value shock that everyone fitted.

I have to give thanks to Tonk and Mike S, who were club members at the time and offered to fit the whole setup for me as I had no workshop and only a handfull of tools back then.

Since [[eddie:rebuilds:start|the rebuild]], I went from the original ES9000's to very long ES9000's, and then to Bilstein 5125's which were just a //total// revelation and I'd say do bring the ride up to coiler standards - especially if you factor in the portals & 37's!
