Aside from outings and play days with the Shire Land Rover club, I have been daft enough to use the 109 for some long-distance overland trips to Russia supporting Jez and friends in Trophy Raid Ladoga;

Ladoga 2007 - Build car, drive car to Russia, what could go wrong?
Ladoga 2008 - Back to Russia in a Series 3, because why not?
Ladoga 2009 - Back to Russia again! Well, what can I say? 3 weeks of insanity that I wouldn't miss for the world.

We quite regularly do Seven Sisters & Summer Sisters with the Shire Land Rover Club - sometimes with the 109 when it's not being rebuilt although it's been a while!
