Winch

Still safely tucked up in the shed a mere decade since it was bought at Sodbury!

The Plan

Is to mount some sort of crank-drive pump and controls, as the crank-drive-hydraulic setup on Mouse worked incredibly well and gives short plumbing runs and the ability to wheel-assist.

Hopefully I can work something out with a variable rate pump and/or motor such that the winch can turn much faster at light loads / zero load than the original version and can tolerate a wider range of engine RPM and periods of idling without issues.

Progress...?
