  • Cutwel 1-Flute 3mm, 20krpm, 1100mm/min, 0.5D depth, Vc(?) 188mm/min, fz(?) 0.055 mm/tooth
    • Or TL;DR: 100mm/min at 0.5mm DOC, 50mm/min at 1mm DOC.
  • :?: Cheap chinesse 3mm milling cutter. <250mm/min, 1mm pass
  • Cheap 0.5mm drill (PCB type)
    • Feed 50mm/min, 1mm peck, use a collet because it snaps due to the wobble in the chuck!

Perspex

  • Cheap 0.5mm drill (PCB type)
    • 5krpm, Feed 100mm/min, 1mm peck, use a collet because it snaps due to the wobble in the chuck, stop between holes to clean any melted plastic off the bit
  • Cutwel 1-Flute 3mm, 20krpm, 100mm/min, 1mm depth

Nylon

  • :?: Polyamide 12mm with 1mm per layer, 600mm/min with 1/8“ endmill

Mild Steel

  • :?: 3mm cutter, Pass: 0.25 mm Speed: 300 Feedrate

Others

  • :?: Slitting of a 6mm hardened steel shaft using carborundum disc. Speed is 11,000rpm, fed by hand, with a 0.25mm feed rate per pass.
