The Story So Far

I'd bought the 109 as a fairly crusty old thing, done a V8 swap and a few other bits, eventually attempted a rebuild and then by extreme good fortune fallen in with the House Of Flying Spanners who helped me properly rebuild it, then driven it to Russia and back 3 times as well as off-roading it at home. I'd had a cage and (complimentary) sliders and bumper made by Dan, which brings things up to the state you see here:

However, a whole load of niggles and little bits were accumulating that really demanded seeing to, so here we are

  • Plumbing
  • Steering Bars
  • Lights
  • Difflocks
  • Cooling fans coming on full speed
  • Wiring
  • Extraneous cack floating round or bolted down in the back
  • Eberspacher heater
  • Oh my God the frigging dashboard!

Also I'd discovered Project Binky by now and those guys just make all your own work look shoddy, so something had to be done!

Onwards to Steering
