Cooling

Well this might be a clue as to why it was getting warm on the last outing:

The wire reinforcement from my bitsa hose coolant setup walked its way up the line, I'm assuming that can easily lead to the other end of the hose (in my case, nearest the stat) collapsing and restricting flow.

The hose setup has been a source of shame since it was done “just for now” back in 2007… so a load of silicone bits came from Auto Silicone Hoses (ASH) on eBay plus a load of stainless pipe to give this end result:

Big thanks to Ross for getting it beautifully TIGed up at his work, and for getting it a bit more TIGed up when I realised I had omitted any method for getting water into the system
